These terminals should only be booked for use of the specialist databases.

Computers can be booked for a maximum of 2 hours per day during library staffed hours.

Bookings can be made up to 2 weeks in advance.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, your booking may be canceled and the time slot allocated to another user.

If you leave the PC unattended and it has been booked by another user, the PC will be logged off when the next time slot begins, at the start of each hour.

Alumni wishing to book Bloomberg or Eikon must book via the Cass Library Service desk, either by telephone (020 7040 8787)  or in person.

Bloomberg terminals have daily and monthly limits for data downloads using the Excel Add-In. If a terminal has reached a limit, you'll see #N/A Limit appear in the fields you are trying to download into. We cannot reset these limits once they have been reached for the month and they are for the terminal, not the user, so please try to download only the data you need to avoid hitting the limits for yourself and other users. There is no limit for exporting data from Bloomberg itself without using the Excel Add-In.  If you need further help please contact

If the Bloomberg terminal you are using has reached the download limit, please inform Library staff as soon as possible.  If you have booked a Bloomberg terminal that has reached the download limit, Library staff will endeavour to move you to another terminal but this may not always be feasible.
