Introduction to ProQuest RefWorks for Food Policy students

Target audience: MSc Food Policy students.

ProQuest RefWorks is an online reference management software designed to assist you in storing, managing and sharing references collected during your research and creating bibliographies.

This workshop will cover the basic features of  ProQuest RefWorks:

  1. how to create your ProQuest RefWorks account.
  2. how to add references to ProQuest RefWorks from different sources (i.e. lCityLibrary Search, databases).
  3. how to create folders and organise references into folders.
  4. how to select an output style and generate a bibliography.

You can create an account at: https://refworks.proquest.com/ Use your City email details to create a login. Choose your own password. You will receive an activation email to your City email account which you need to click on. You will then be asked to complete a registration form to provide a little information about yourself. Once your account is created, you can access it from https://refworks.proquest.com/ or from CityLibrary Search.
