Evaluating sources - for SCC and SPGA students

This workshop on how to identify reliable and relevant information for an assignment will cover:

  • Different types of information sources
  • Making decisions on the credibility of resources and how to evaluate them.

By the end of this workshop you should be able to:

  • Identify appropriate information types to use
  • Evaluate sources using the CRAAP test
  • Judge whether information is reliable.

Please note we will not be covering search technique in this workshop.

This workshop is designed for School of Communication & Creativity and School of Policy & Global Affairs students.
