Getting ahead: Harvard Referencing

Join Samantha for a practical referencing workshop to help you understand this vital academic skill. You will learn:

  • How to cite sources in your work using the Harvard Style of referencing
  • How to construct references for common academic sources using the Cite Them Right Online's Harvard Style instructions.
  • Where to find out how to reference all sorts of other sources of information, from YouTube to Bloomberg
  • Some tips and tricks to make citing and referencing easier and more efficient.

You will also have opportunity to ask questions about referencing problems you have had.

This workshop is aimed at Cass PhD and MSc students, but other students and staff are welcome to attend.

Space is limited so booking is essential - if you're not able to come, you must cancel using the link in your original booking email (sent from alerts@libcal.com) - that way if there is a waiting list someone else will be able to take your place.
