Searching EBSCOhost and Ovid databases for your SHS undergraduate dissertation.

This workshop will introduce 3rd year SHS undergraduate students how EBSCOhost and Ovid can be used to search for journal articles.

The session will cover:

  • Accessing and selecting databases on the EBSCOhost and Ovid platforms
  • Carrying out a structured and focused keyword search
  • Applying search limiters
  • Saving search results.

How do I attend?

When you register we'll send you an email with a link to join the workshop on Zoom, and you'll get a reminder email before the start time.

To join the session you will need:

  • a computer
  • a reliable internet connection and
  • quiet space at the time of the workshop.
