Engineering resources - Knovel and Compendex

This workshop will give you an overview of two of our specialist engineering resources, Knovel and Compendex. We will show you how to effectively search:

  • Knovel - a key resource of technical information which includes a large collection of engineering ebooks, data sheets, conference proceedings, and handbooks;

  • Compendex (Engineering Village) - a comprehensive journal literature database with over 20m records across 190 engineering disciplines. Includes the option to search for numeric data.

How do I attend?

Please sign up by following the link on this page. We'll then send you an email with a link to join the workshop in Microsoft Teams an hour before the start time.

The Microsoft Teams application enable us to make voice calls, video calls and screen sharing. To use Microsoft Teams application, you will need:

  • a computer

  • a reliable internet connection and

  • quiet space at the time of the workshop
