SHS Researchers: Performing a scoping search to help validate your proposed research question

This workshop is for Masters, PhD students, researchers and academics, from the School of Health Sciences, who are starting their dissertation/research paper.

In this workshop you will learn how to perform a scoping search to help validate your proposed research question by:

  • (if you are planning to perform a systematic review) checking that a review doesn't already exist, or is being proposed, which covers the same question
  • checking how much research exists which is relevant to your question
