Searching databases on EBSCOhost and Ovid for your undergraduate dissertation

This workshop will introduce School of Health & Psychological Sciences students to using EBSCOhost and Ovid to search for journal articles.

The session will cover:

  • Accessing and selecting databases on the EBSCOhost and Ovid platforms
  • Carrying out a structured and focused keyword search
  • Applying search limiters
  • Saving search results.

How do I attend?

When you register we'll send you an email with a link to join the workshop on Zoom, and you'll get a reminder email before the start time.

To join the session you will need:

  • a computer
  • a reliable internet connection and
  • quiet space at the time of the workshop.
