Planning and developing a search strategy
Session overview
This workshop will introduce School of Health & Psychological Sciences to planning an effective search strategy and why this is important.
The session will cover:
- What is a literature review?
- The benedits of carrying out a 'Scoping search'
- Selecting appropriate sources of information
- Frameworks and the importance of keywords.
Who is this session for?
This session is particularly aimed at undergraduate students carrying out a dissertation, but any student tackling structured database searching for the first time will also find it useful.
How do I attend?
When you register we'll send you an email with a link to join the workshop on Zoom, and you'll get a reminder email before the start time.
To join the session you will need:
- a computer
- a reliable internet connection and
- quiet space at the time of the workshop.
