Finding legislation

This workshop is an introduction to how to find legislation.

It will cover:

  • How to find legislation including Acts and statutory instruments
  • Using Westlaw, Lexis+ and legislation.gov to find legislation
  • How to check the status of legislation i.e. whether it is repealed or still in force
  • Finding added value resources on an Act, including articles and books that discuss it

How do I attend?

When you register we'll send you an email with a link to join the workshop in Microsoft Teams. You'll also get a reminder an hour before the start time.

The Microsoft Teams application enable us to make voice calls, video calls and screen sharing. To use Microsoft Teams application, you will need:

  • a computer
  • a reliable internet connection and
  • quiet space at the time of the workshop
