Introduction to Bloomberg at the Business Library

Join Emilia for this practical workshop to help you get started using Bloomberg. You'll use the Bloomberg terminal yourself so you can get used to the navigation.

It will take place in the Bloomberg Lab  on the ground floor of the Bayes Business School (Computer Room G005).

This session will use a worksheet to show you how to:

  • Navigate Bloomberg
  • Find, download and save company and market information
  • Use other functions to find financial, index and economic data.
  • Find help and support within the database

Space is limited so booking is essential - if you're not able to come, you must cancel using the link in your original booking email (sent from alerts@libcal.com) - that way if there is a waiting list someone else will be able to take your place.

There are 10 terminals, and space for up to 20 students, so you will work in pairs if more than 10 students sign up for the session.

Each session will cover the same information so you only need to book once.  If you have already attended a session, even in a previous year, there is no need to attend more.
