Health & Psychology Postgraduates & Researchers: Formulating an effective research question for your dissertation/research paper

This workshop is aimed at Masters and PhD students, researchers and academics from SHPS, who are embarking on a dissertation/research paper.

We will cover the steps involved in formulating an effective research question:

  • Deciding the type of question you want to answer 
  • Discovering the scope of research available
  • Using a framework to focus your question
  • Establishing your Inclusion & Exclusion criteria
