SHPS Postgraduates & Researchers: Formulating an effective research question for your dissertation/research paper

This workshop is aimed at SHPS Masters and PhD students, researchers and academics who are about to embark on research for their dissertation or research paper.

The session will cover the steps involved in formulating an effective research question:

  • Deciding on a type of question
  • Discovering the scope of research available.
  • Using a framework to focus your question.
  • Establishing your inclusion and exclusion criteria
