SHPS Postgraduates & Researchers: Literature Searching Part 1: Searching databases to find relevant studies for your dissertation/research paper

This session will demonstrate how to perform a literature search, for your dissertation/research paper, using databases available in the EBSCOhost and Ovid Online platforms.

You will be shown how to perform a search by using a combination of MeSH (Subject Heading) and free text terms.

You will also be shown how to search databases outside of these platforms.
