SHMS Postgraduates & Researchers : Keeping your literature search, for your dissertation/research paper, up to date

Writing dissertations/research papers takes time. Once your literature search has finished you still need to screen your results; analyse them for quality and extract data. During this time more papers may be published which are relevant to your search.

This workshop will demonstrate various tools you can use to ensure that your search is up to date:

  • Database search alerts
  • Journal Table of Content alerts
  • Citation alerts
  • Author alerts
